WEEK 2 (Jan 19 and 21):

This week....

1.  READING ASSIGNMENT

a) Read Chapter 1 from Modern Analytical Chemistry by David Harvey to get a full appreciation of what "analytical chemistry" is all about.  Know what the difference between quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis is.

b) Read Chapter 2 from Modern Analytical Chemistry by David Harvey

2.  Work on ASSIGNMENT 1 for January 26nd's class

 

 

WEEK 3 (Jan 24 - 28):

This week....

1.  READING ASSIGNMENT

a) Read Chapter 4 from Modern Analytical Chemistry by David Harvey to re-acquaint yourself with basic Stats (mean, standard deviation, how to construct a calibration curve)
 

2. Assignment 1 is due by the start of class on Wednesday, Jan 26, 2011.

 

WEEK 4 (Jan 31 to Feb 4):

This week....

1.  Assignment #2 is Due on Feb 11.
