"My feedback for anyone who plans to take the MCAT and especially to the incoming freshmen class is to buy an MCAT study guide off of Ebay (there are really good ones out there that are cheap) and start doing verbal reasoning passages or read magazines and newspapers starting freshmen year. Even if they do two passages a week it will definitely give them an advantage by junior year when they plan to take the MCATs. As science majors we tend to read for detail but on the MCAT we have to read for the overall structure of the passage."
