This web site provides an introduction to contemporary India and presents current events articles about India's politics, economy, and other issues.

Before beginning the articles, please read the introductory sections. As you work through each section, you will find a short interactive quiz to test your understanding of the material. After you've read a section or article, please make sure you can pass the quiz before you move on to the next topic.
