If you would like to try an interesting experiment, translate something into another language (e.g., French), then translate the results back into the original language (e.g., English).  This is referred to as "Back Translation" and is one method used in checking the accuracy of a translation exercise.  The words in the original and the back translated version seldom match perfectly, but as long as the intent of the message is still clear, the translation is likely to be acceptable.  As you will see though, this is not often the case.
