Instruct various textile classes, perform research on various topics including nonwovens, teaching methods, dyeing and finishing of new materials, combining fabric formation and printing, and converting recycled materials into viable textile products.
Consult with various nonwoven companies concerning structural analysis of nonwoven products, porosity analysis of nonwoven fabrics, uses of nonwoven fabrics, abrasion resistance of nonwoven fabrics, recycling and problem solving in nonwovens processing. Produce fabrics and webs for various nonwovens related companies. Perform seminars on nonwovens.
Serve as faculty co-advisor for Alpha Chapter of Phi Psi Textile Fraternity.
Serve as faculty advisor for Philadelphia University student section of ASME.
