Nonwovens

 

The nonwovens lab at Philadelphia University was created by Robert Wagner in the late 1970's.  It contains short staple web forming equipment as well as bonding equipment, arranged in a modular manner for versatility.

The lab is available for research and development as well as limited production runs.

Some of the materials produced in the nonwovens lab consist of fabrics containing turkey feather fibers, peanut hull fibers, and shredded plastic shopping bags.
