Creative, technically adept industry professional.  Experienced in the development of apparel from concept through creation.  Able to work in both industry and custom areas.  Particularly skilled in draping, patternmaking and garment construction.

Detail oriented and deadline driven.  Good ability to visualize finished products from flat sketches.  Effective working in a group or independently.

Currently applying these skills to the professional education of students in a University setting.

Albert Nipon

Ø     Design room and production patternmaker. Responsible for draping and drafting first patterns for line development.  Worked with and coordinated design room sample makers.  Production duties included patternmaking, fitting and reviewing lines for production.  Tracked pattern flow and coordinated pattern production for Executive Dress division. Able to meet strict overseas deadlines.  Supervised production sample makers.  Extensive knowledge of pleating, working with plaids, stripes and specialty fabrics.  Worked closely with graders, marker makers and tech specs to insure accuracy and quality control.

Gordon of Philadelphia

Ø     Production patternmaker for Gordon of Philadelphia and Also Gordon missy lines.  Worked with grading department to develop accurate specs for large size line.  Responsible for generating patterns, cutting first samples.

Ø     Production patternmaker for ladies’ line of dressmaker suits.  Worked closely with production facility.  Participated in costing meetings and implemented product assembly changes.
