Information received at the General Prosecutors’ Office in Bishkek      Date: 17.01.07

One of the sample stories:
   
On the 17th of November [name omitted] (age 26) turned to the Prosecutors office of Lenin Region in Bishkek with a complaint against [name omitted] who kidnapped her by force on the 16.11.2006 around 8 a.m. from the intersection of Beishenalieva and Moscovskyi Streets with the aim of marrying her, and took her to Talas. 
    On the 24th of November, 2006, an investigation has started by Lenin Region against [name omitted], who worked for one of the departments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Bishkek.
    On the 16th of December this case was sent to court.
