"With every new material comes an opportunity to evolve new forms. Rather than going at it with a set style or given function in mind, the job here is to listen to what the material is saying, and to decode and develop a new language that’s specific to it. The more designers are able to toy with what a material can and cannot do, the more the substance becomes a medium of expression."
