A321 CAD I: Modeling
Project 4
__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Final Project:
For this project, your professor will describe the various options for the different
design fields. You will create a complete set of drawings to represent that option. The
site context, the interior and the exterior are essential to the understanding
of the design intent. Your choices of materials, views and methods of "making" become an
important part of communicating the essence of the design. The objective is to have a
well-rounded presentation that illuminates the design intent of the work.
Requirements:
AutoCAD files (.dwg) and laser prints exhibiting lineweights
of the following:
Plans (2D drawings, .dwg files)
Elevations (2D drawings .dwg files)
Sections (2D drawings .dwg files)
AutoCAD file of the following:
3D model (.dwg)
AccuRender files (.jpg) complete with an environment of the following:
2 exterior perspective (.jpg files)
3 interior perspectives (.jpg files)
Sunlight studies of key space (.avi
file)
1 Panorama (.pan file)
1
Aninmation (avi file)
Be prepared to present your work on the computer to the class.
Submit your .dwg files and .jpg files on a super disk to your professor
(Note: The 2D drawings are separate files from the 3D model.)
Also, the project requirements will be submitted via your web page.
This project counts as your class final, and is due on the scheduled
final exam date and time for this class.
Evaluation Criteria:
Project 4 is evaluated based upon the following criteria.
Effectiveness of 3D AutoCAD model.
Effectiveness of AccuRender images.
Understanding of 2D drawings.
Completeness of documentation.
